Check out this GREAT video by Microsoft which beautifully illustrates the problem with broadcast media. Note that the woman is the consumer. This is not incidental. According to Blogher research, women spend $5 trillion a year (U.S.) and control 83% of household spending.

Thanks for the mention of See3. The world of advertising, marketing and online video is changing so rapidly it is hard for organizations to keep up. But in the end, organizations doing good work that can tap into authentic stories will benefit far beyond what was possible when media and advertising was controlled only by big corporations.
